Luxury Camping Safari

A semi-mobile camp moves location several times in the year to follow the movement of the famous migration or other wildlife so as to be where the action is.
The Tents
Such a camp has spacious semi-permanent canvas tents with either a double king-size bed or two single beds, foam mattress, pillow, bed sheets and blanket. There is a small bedside table and dress boy for your clothes. Towels and soap are provided, as well as complimentary bottled water, insect spray and torch. Each tent has its own private bathroom with (hot) shower facilities, electric light and socket. The tent has a veranda with safari chairs for you to relax and enjoy a sundowner. In the evenings the staffs will provide kerosene lamps creating a romantic atmosphere.
Safari
You go on safari with a 4wd Toyota Land Cruiser or 4wd Land Rover with open roof. On such a safari you have your own private vehicle, so you can start when you want, stop when you like, and go where you want. In many areas walking safaris with an armed ranger can be arranged, as well as night game drives.
Luxury Lodge or Permanent Tented Camp
After a long dusty day on the road one appreciates the cool oasis of a luxury lodge. Here you can enjoy watching the animals come and go from your seat at the bar and a cocktail a hand’s reach away. A luxury permanent tented camp combines the comfort of a lodge with the sensation of camping in the wild. Each permanent tent has two beds with mosquito net and is self-contained.
