Start your 7-days excursion featuring Gorillas, Chimpanzees and wildlife by our guide who will accompany you from the airport to your hotel in Kampala.

Drive to hotel in Kampala for a transfer service. Check in and relax.

Visiting the Uganda Museum or Kasubi Tombs (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is an optional activity for those with morning flight, or you can relax at your hotel. However, it’s not mandatory.

Dinner will be provided at your hotel or nearby restaurant…. Enjoy.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale Forest in Fort Portal

Start your day with breakfast and check out of your hotel.

Embark on the scenic journey towards Kibale Forest: Begin your excursion towards this picturesque location. 5–6 hours’ drive). Admire breathtaking views of tea fields, rural communities and the Rwenzori Mountains.
Have your lunch at Fort Portal, a charming town in the vicinity of Kibale.

Afternoon: Check-in at your lodge. Unpack and unwind, you can take a nature walk if you want which will be followed by a guided nature walk to observe wildlife and birds.

Day 3: A chimpanzee trek on through Kibale forest/Queen Elizebeth national Park.

You’ll be off to the park headquarters for a briefing after having breakfast.
The guide at Kibale national park will guide you through the woods to observe chimpanzees and other primates, including red colobus monkeys.

Among the top safari spots in Africa for chimpanzee tracking is Kibale Forest National Park. Why? Kibale’s 795km2. Uganda’s National Park boasts one of the most beautiful and diverse tropical forest areas in the country.

This location is home to a variety of forest animals, with 13 primate species and several chimpanzees being among them. An hour will be required to observe chimps.
Trekking is the next step after which you’ll have a picnic and then drive to Queen Elizabeth national park, where you can explore the stunning Rwenzori foothills before arriving in the evening. Stay and sleep at your preferred place.

The journey will last for 3 – 4 hours, and upon arrival, you’ll be ready to unpack and enjoy your evening meal.

The middle range is home to Twin Lake lodge Enganzi, Bufalo Lodge, and Elephant Plains Lodge.

Day 4: Games, Boat cruise and adventure at Queen Elizabeth National Park

In the morning, your lodge will serve you a cup of tea and Bananas after you’ll head for a game drive in Queen Elizabeth national park, where you’ll come across a variety of wildlife such as African elephants, buffaloes and other antelopes; various impala from Zimbabwe; and numerous birds. Take a trip to the equator after your game drive and experience the Equator.
After you’ll head back to your lodge for breakfast and after breakfast you can Start your day at the lodge, unwind as your waiting to have your lunch.
During the afternoon, go on a launch cruise inside Queen Elizabeth Park along the Kazinga channel, where you can get swarmed by hippos and crocodiles,
as well as an array of birds in the bay. The cruise takes 2 hours. After the cruise head back to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Transferring to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Start your day with a meal and check out after breakfast.
Then start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (approx. 4–5 hours).
This drive provides a view of the Albertine Rift Valley and Virunga Mountains.
During your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, you’ll stop to have lunch on your way.
Check in and unpack and relax. Dine at your lodge
Accommodation: Mountain Gorilla Lodge, Buhoma Lodge and Mahogany Springs.
The Gorilla Safari Lodge and Silverback Camp are located in the middle range.
Buhoma Community Rest Camp and Bakiga Lodge’s budget.
Meal plan: Eat breakfast, lunch, and dinner simultaneously.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Batwa Community Followed by a Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi after your journey.

Start your day with breakfast and get ready to trek. Gear up for some bottled drinking water, a raincoat, and eat lunch provided by the lodge.
Visit the UWA headquarters for briefing from UWA stuff, then join a group of up
to 8 people and be guided on navigating through the dense forest in search of the gorillas.

Upon reaching the gorilla population, you’ll have an extraordinary one-hour
experience observing and taking photos of the wild mountain goats. Observe their conduct and conservation initiatives.’
In the afternoon, participate in an optional Batwa community walk.
Subsequently, you’ll travel to Lake Bunyonyi, a stunning and breathtaking lake
in Uganda that features numerous islands.

Day 7: Journey back to Kampala

Begin the day by having breakfast and proceed to return to Entebbe International Airport. You’ll have your lunch at Mbarara before arriving Kampala in the evening. Consider visiting a local market or souvenir shop before arriving at the airport for your onward flight, provided you have enough time to spare. Our driver will drop you off at the Airport for onboarding leg of your 7-days Gorilla and wildlife safari.
