Day 1: Kilimanjaro International Airport >> Arusha

Upon arrival at the airport and customs and immigration formalities, your guide will pick you up and take you to the Two Mountain Lodge in Arusha, where you will stay. The journey from the airport to the hotel takes about an hour.

Day 2: Arusha >> Tarangire National Park >> Karatu

After breakfast, your safari guide will pick you up from your accommodation and drive to Tarangire National Park. This natural wonder is named after the Tarangire River, which flows through the park and is the only permanent water source for the surrounding wildlife. The park is famous for its large population of elephants and more than 550 bird species. This national park is characterized by baobab trees, scattered acacia forests, tall grasses and seasonal swamps.

The park is also home to buffalo, zebras and wildebeests. These animals are accompanied by a number of predators such as lions and leopards. Enjoy the scenic beauty of the landscape and wildlife from an open roof of the vehicle. The picnic area is fascinating and offers a viewpoint with a wonderful view of the river and wildlife (with good chances of seeing a hunt during the picnic). In the afternoon we continue on a game drive before continuing to the Hhando Coffee Lodge.

Day 3: Karatu >> Lake Manyara Park

After breakfast, take your packed lunch to Lake Manyara National Park. This is a relatively small but diverse park, located in the Manyara region on the edge of the Great African Rift Valley and one of the famous parks in the northern zone with many unique attractions, including Lake Manyara, Maji Moto (hot natural springs surrounded by Palm trees and fig trees), a wide variety of bird species, both local and migratory bird species, tree-climbing lions, high population of hippos large herds of elephants and buffalos as well as the Rift Valley trench, which is a unique scenic beauty of the park. 

In the evening they return to the Hhando Coffee Lodge. There you can relax in the pool before dinner.

Day 4: Karatu >> Ngorongoro Crater >> Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, descend into the crater for a wonderful game drive with your packed lunch served in the crater. This region is often described as the „eighth wonder of the world “ and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Ngorongoro Crater is the largest uninterrupted volcanic caldera in the world. The crater, 600 meters deep, was formed when a volcano exploded and collapsed about 2 to 3 million years ago. 

A rich grassy pasture covers the crater floor and offers favorable conditions for grazing animals such as lions, zebras, gazelles, buffalos and warthogs, to name just a few. This natural enclosure provides a retreat for some of Tanzania’s endangered black rhinos. In the afternoon you get out of the crater and drive into the central Serengeti, where you are expected for dinner at the Serengeti Heritage Camp.

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

After breakfast you have all day for a game drive in the Serengeti with your packed lunch.

The Serengeti is famous for its wealth of wild animals, long grassy plains, breathtaking rivers and emerging ecosystems. The seemingly endless grassy plains host the famous Great Animal Migration – of the largest mass movement of ungulates on the planet.

More than 2 million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and all kinds of antelopes move around in search of food and water every year. As for the big cats and large predators, it is the preferred place to look for lions, cheetahs, leopards and hyenas, and many television scenes like the famous river crossings have been filmed in this park. The entire 2 days are designed to enjoy the beauty of the Serengeti.

Day 6: Serengeti National Park >> Zanzibar

After breakfast, you have a farewell cruise in the Serengeti on the way to Seronera Airfield to reach the Auric Air flight to Zanzibar. The departure is at 11:00 a.m. and arrival at 2:20 p.m. On arrival you will be picked up by our representative who will take you to your hotel, Sunshine Bay.

From Day 7: Zanzibar

Since we do not want to sell off-the-shelf trips, we would like to discuss the length of the stay in Zanzibar with you personally. That is why our travel proposal ends here.
