Detailed Itinerary

Day 0: Arrival

Welcome to Tanzania. Our guide will collect you from Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer you to Arusha for an overnight stay. It takes a two-hour drive to arrive at Arusha Coffee Lodge, a 4-star accommodation in the heart of Tanzania. The lodge offers a unique experience with excellent amenities and services. Its proximity to Kilimanjaro Airport and Arusha Airport makes it a convenient starting point for safaris and other excursions.

Day 1: Lake Eyasi, Meet the Hazabe People 

Early in the morning, around 7:30 AM, our guide will collect you from Arusha Coffee Lodge and take you to Lake Eyasi for full-day excursions, with a lunch box en route. Lake Eyasi is known for its unique wildlife, and the indigenous Hadzabe and Datoga tribes inhabited the area for thousands of years. The Hadzabes are one of the last hunter-gatherer societies in East Africa, known for their unique way of life and language. The Hadzabe live around Lake Eyasi and are traditionally hunter-gatherers, relying on hunting, honey gathering, and foraging for their sustenance. The Datooga people, also known as the Mang’ati in Swahili, are a pastoralist Nilotic ethnic group based in the Lake Eyasi basin in the Manyara Region of Tanzania. They have a rich cultural heritage and are known for their deep knowledge of the natural environment. The Datooga people traditionally practice animal husbandry, hunting, and gathering. Later in the afternoon, our guide will transfer you to Acacia Farm Lodge. Acacia Farm is a 4-star hotel in Karatu town; the lodge is known for its luxury and pleasing amenities.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park

Early in the morning, our guide will transfer you to Ndutu, Serengeti National Park, for Calving Season via Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a lunch box en route. Ndutu in South Serengeti is known for its stunning wildlife and the annual wildebeest calving season. During this time, thousands of wildebeest gather in the area to give birth, attracting predators such as lions and cheetahs. The plains of Ndutu are also home to thousands of wildlife animals, making it a prime location for game viewing and photography. It’s a genuinely remarkable and picturesque part of the Serengeti ecosystem. Later on, we will transfer you to the Ndutu Kati Kati Tented Camp in south Serengeti for dinner and overnight. This mobile camp in south Serengeti is also ideal for viewing the great migration season.

Day 3: Serengeti National Park

Another full-day game viewing is in Ndutu, and you can visit Central Serengeti National Park. Central Serengeti is a captivating region known for its impressive population of predators, including lions, leopards, and cheetahs. The vast grasslands of Central Serengeti also provide a stunning backdrop for witnessing the annual wildebeest migration, offering unparalleled opportunities for game viewing and photography. The region is also home to diverse wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and various bird species. It is a must-visit destination for nature enthusiasts and safari lovers. Late in the evening, our guide will transfer you to Ndutu Kati Kati, south of Serengeti, for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

On this day, early morning, our guide will transfer you to Ngorongoro Conservation Area with wildlife viewing on the route. You will have your lunch box with you along the way. Visitors to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area can engage in game drives, guided walks, and cultural interactions with the local Maasai communities. The area offers unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing, birdwatching, and exploration of its diverse landscapes. Later in the afternoon, our guide will take you to Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and overnight. Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is a stunning and luxurious 4-star accommodation located on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania. The lodge provides guests with the perfect spot for viewing the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and experiencing the wonders of the African wilderness. It is ideal for those seeking luxury, serenity, and close encounters with nature’s most spectacular offerings.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Around 7:30 AM, your guide will take you into the crater for a six-hour permit. You’ll see various animals and birds living in the crater during that time. The Ngorongoro Crater is a fascinating place in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area of Tanzania. It is a large volcanic caldera, the world’s largest intact and unfilled caldera. The crater’s floor covers a vast expanse of approximately 260 square kilometers and is home to diverse wildlife. The crater is known for its high concentration of wildlife, including an abundance of iconic African species such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, and rhinos. The Ngorongoro Crater is also one of the best places in Africa to spot the endangered black rhinoceros in its natural habitat. Later in the afternoon, our guide will transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Arusha
